The Hydropower Boom in Africa: A Green Energy Revolution Africa is tapping into its immense hydropower potential, ushering in an era of renewable energy. With monumental projects like Ethiopia’s Grand Ethiopian Renaissance Dam (GERD) and the Inga Dams in the Democratic Republic of Congo, the continent is gearing up to address its energy demands sustainably while driving economic growth.
Northern Kenya is a region rich in resources, cultural diversity, and strategic trade potential, yet it remains underutilized in the national development agenda.

Bullet Bras Evolution || Where did Bullet Bras go to?
In a time when code is no longer just written by humans, the future of the internet is shifting toward something radically autonomous—and Zurich will be the epicenter of that conversation this June.
The 2025 Digital Sovereignty Summit, slated for June 3, promises to upend everything we think we know about the internet, centralization, and the role of artificial intelligence. Far from a standard tech expo, the event—now in its fourth iteration—celebrates a growing movement to liberate the internet from corporate monopolies and reinvent it as a self-operating, decentralized organism.
While technically a nod to the fourth anniversary of the Internet Computer Protocol (ICP), this year’s gathering is more manifesto than milestone. The summit has evolved into a full-scale ideological forum, drawing minds from every corner of tech, governance, and finance. Its central theme? “Rebuilding the Internet as a Sovereign Entity.”
The ambition isn't subtle: engineers and entrepreneurs alike are chasing the holy grail of a self-governing digital platform—one that builds, scales, and governs itself using smart contracts, AI logic, and decentralized architecture.
The origin story goes back to a now-famous tweet from Dominic Williams, a blockchain visionary who planted the seeds for what would later become the Internet Computer. His dream? A world where traditional IT is rendered obsolete, and the entire web exists on a tamper-proof blockchain, autonomously managed through code that rewrites and perfects itself over time.

Now, that dream is no longer theoretical.
With over 500 projects launched, including decentralized finance tools, social platforms, NFT marketplaces, and infrastructure frameworks, the ecosystem has transformed from a disruptive idea into a legitimate contender for the internet’s next chapter.
The summit is divided into two thematic arenas:
The World Computer Stage will dig deep into provocative ideas. Topics like “The Age of Digital Colonialism” and “Who Owns Intelligence?” promise to interrogate the political, economic, and existential implications of autonomous tech.
The Ecosystem Stage offers the hands-on contrast: project pitches, software demonstrations, and deep dives into real-world applications of the self-writing Internet. From DePIN (decentralized physical infrastructure networks) to sovereign AI, builders will showcase technologies designed to operate independently of traditional gatekeepers.
One of the most exciting storylines emerging from the summit is Africa’s growing role in shaping this new internet order. With ICP Hubs spread across the continent, African developers, researchers, and startups are proving that decentralized tools can offer real-world solutions in underserved regions.
Their presence at the summit is more than symbolic—it’s strategic. As the conversation around digital colonization heats up, Africa’s voice in technological self-determination becomes more vital than ever.
The 2025 Digital Sovereignty Summit isn’t about incremental updates or the next app release. It’s about fundamentally altering the structure of the internet itself. From developers and policymakers to entrepreneurs and activists, attendees will grapple with what happens when code doesn’t just execute—it evolves.
Whether you're a blockchain believer, an AI skeptic, or just someone curious about where our digital lives are heading, this summit offers a glimpse into a world where the web is no longer just built—it builds itself.
