POCO has officially launched its much-anticipated POCO F7 5G, setting a new benchmark in the mid-range smartphone segment. Among its standout features is a colossal 7,550mAh battery—positioning the device as one of the longest-lasting smartphones on the market today. Coupled with next-generation performance capabilities, top-tier display technology, and premium connectivity features, the POCO F7 5G is designed for power users who demand longevity, speed, and advanced multimedia capabilities at a competitive price.
At the center of the POCO F7’s appeal is its massive 7,550mAh battery—a capacity rarely seen in modern smartphones, especially those in the sub-$500 range. This allows users to experience uninterrupted usage for two to three days under moderate to heavy use.
To complement the battery, POCO has included 90W wired fast charging support, which can fully recharge the device in under 30 minutes. The device also features 22.5W reverse wired charging, enabling it to function as a power bank when needed.
Under the hood, the POCO F7 5G is powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 processor, Qualcomm’s latest offering built for near-flagship performance with improved efficiency. This chipset is paired with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage, ensuring lightning-fast app loading, seamless multitasking, and a future-ready performance standard for gaming and productivity.
The device features a 6.83-inch LTPS AMOLED display with a 1.5K resolution (2,772×1,280), offering a perfect balance between Full HD+ and QHD+ sharpness. The screen boasts a 120Hz refresh rate and up to 3,200 nits peak brightness, ensuring vivid visuals in all lighting conditions. It also includes DC dimming, low PWM flicker, and adaptive brightness technology for improved eye comfort.
The POCO F7 5G’s camera setup is led by a 50MP main sensor with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), delivering clear, stable shots even in motion. This is supported by an 8MP ultra-wide lens, ideal for landscape and group shots. On the front, the device houses a 20MP camera for high-quality selfies and video conferencing. POCO has also equipped the camera app with features such as AI scene recognition, enhanced night mode, and Pro mode for manual adjustments.

Encased in a polished metal-and-glass design, the POCO F7 5G balances style with resilience. The smartphone comes with IP68/IP69 dust and water resistance ratings, ensuring protection against the elements. It is available in three color variants: Black Onyx, Horizon Blue, and Cyber Silver.
Connectivity options include dual 5G, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6.0, NFC, IR Blaster, and USB-C 3.1. The under-display fingerprint scanner and AI-based face unlock provide added convenience. The device runs on HyperOS 2.0, based on Android 15, offering a clean UI and improved power efficiency, along with up to four years of software updates.
The POCO F7 5G is expected to be officially available in India and Southeast Asia from July 2025, with European and African markets to follow shortly. Pricing is projected as follows:
-India: ₹29,999 for the 12GB/256GB variant and ₹34,999 for the 16GB/1TB model
-Europe: €449 to €499 depending on the configuration
-Africa (projected): Starting from KES 60,000 and NGN 350,000
These competitive prices place the POCO F7 5G in direct competition with mid-range offerings from Samsung, Xiaomi, and OnePlus, yet it outpaces many rivals in battery capacity and processing power.
The POCO F7 5G is not just another 5G smartphone—it is a statement in endurance and value. With a class-leading battery, rapid charging, flagship-grade processor, and display innovations, it caters to users who refuse to compromise on power and performance. Whether you're a gamer, creator, or business user, this device ensures you stay connected and productive throughout the day—and beyond.
