Bullet Bras Evolution || Where did Bullet Bras go to?
As Kenya's students rush to secure spots in universities and colleges through the Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS), the agency has issued a serious warning: imposters are out to scam you. A rising wave of fake KUCCPS pages—especially on Facebook—is misleading students, spreading false updates, and manipulating public trust.
One particular page, brazenly named "Kuccps News," has been flagged for impersonating the placement service. It looks official, it sounds official—but it’s anything but. KUCCPS has strongly distanced itself from such pages, urging students to stay alert and use only verified communication channels.
The acronym KUCCPS isn’t just a label—it’s part of the agency’s intellectual property and legal identity. Its unauthorized use not only confuses the public but also breaches the law. The agency’s latest advisory made it clear: anyone using the KUCCPS brand name without permission could face legal consequences.
The public, especially students and guardians desperate for updates, are advised to treat any unofficial social media page—no matter how convincing—with deep suspicion.
KUCCPS has flatly stated that it does not accept responsibility for any information circulating on unofficial platforms. If you act on advice from impersonator pages—whether it’s about application deadlines, transfer policies, or supposed ‘shortcuts’—you do so entirely at your own risk.
The agency is urging victims to report any fraud or impersonation directly to law enforcement. It’s not just a warning—it’s a call for action to protect Kenya’s youth from exploitation.
Meanwhile, legitimate services are still running. KUCCPS has reopened its official portal for:
-Inter-institution transfers: Ongoing from July 14 to August 24, allowing qualified applicants to switch programs or institutions—only if they meet the course cut-off points.
-KMTC September intake: Still accepting applications for 28 remaining courses, but the deadline is tomorrow, July 29.
Students looking to take advantage of these services must go through the official KUCCPS portal, not through misleading Facebook links or WhatsApp forwards.
Fraudsters thrive in moments of confusion—and KUCCPS’s admission season is fertile ground. As the agency ramps up its placement efforts, scammers are working overtime to exploit students. But staying safe isn’t complicated. Just stick to the facts:
-Visit the official KUCCPS website for updates
-Ignore Facebook pages that aren’t verified or listed on KUCCPS’s portal
-Double-check before you click, apply, or pay
This season, the only thing you should be transferring is your university preference—not your personal data to scammers.
