-In severe cases, hospitalization may be necessary for intravenous fluids or antibiotics.
Preventing food poisoning requires proper food safety practices:
-Wash hands thoroughly before handling food.
-Cook meats, poultry, and eggs to safe temperatures.
-Avoid cross-contamination by using separate cutting boards and utensils for raw and cooked foods.
