Bullet Bras Evolution || Where did Bullet Bras go to?
Karumandi village in Kirinyaga County was thrown into disbelief after a grim confrontation between a father and his son turned fatal. What started as a domestic disagreement behind closed doors escalated into a violent and fatal encounter that now has investigators combing through evidence and residents reeling in shock.
According to preliminary information, the confrontation took place at the family’s homestead. While the exact cause of the altercation remains unclear, neighbors and relatives suggest that long-standing tension between the two may have exploded into physical violence. By the time the dust settled, 44-year-old Boniface Murage was dead, and his 25-year-old son, Muchira, was severely injured.
Local witnesses, disturbed by screams from the compound, arrived to a chilling scene: pools of blood, overturned household items, and a complete absence of the son. The most alarming sight, according to those first at the scene, were two plastic buckets filled with blood, raising fears that the crime had not been just accidental but deeply intentional.
The neighbors' testimonies painted a disturbing picture. They described a usually quiet son who had shown signs of isolation and resentment, especially in recent weeks. His stepmother, Mumbi Murage, recounted the chilling moment she found her husband lifeless and mutilated, shocked by the sheer brutality. She questioned whether the attack was planned in advance, as the wounds inflicted went beyond self-defense.
The suspect reportedly walked into Kianyaga Police Station shortly after the incident and claimed he had been involved in a fight with his father. Bleeding and distraught, he requested medical attention and admitted to attacking his father. However, authorities are skeptical of the sequence of events, noting inconsistencies in his statement and the scene's condition.
He was quickly transferred to Kerugoya Referral Hospital for treatment, where police have since placed him under tight guard. His injuries, believed to be self-inflicted or incurred during the struggle, are being assessed by doctors as detectives continue their investigation.
Residents of Karumandi, a largely peaceful farming area, are struggling to come to terms with the murder. Many say they have never witnessed such a grotesque crime within their community. The violence has reignited concerns about mental health, substance abuse, and domestic tensions that often go unnoticed in rural areas.
Local elders have called for a community gathering to address what they termed “the breakdown of family values.” Meanwhile, whispers of witchcraft, curses, and generational anger have begun circulating among villagers desperate to make sense of the inexplicable tragedy.
With the suspect still undergoing treatment and under police watch, the next steps will be critical. Authorities are awaiting the full postmortem results to understand the extent of the injuries and determine the cause of death. The case has been classified as a homicide, and formal charges are expected once the suspect is deemed medically stable.
The body of Boniface Murage has been moved to Kibugi Funeral Home, and plans for a postmortem and burial are underway. For now, the small village of Karumandi remains in mourning—haunted not only by the violence itself but by the unsettling possibility that deeper family issues led to this fatal end.
